There must exist thousands films witch have a soft- and a hardcore version - but how to find them in the internet? Up to now I found only 10 on different tube sites, mostly in german language (I don't care about this).

The most famous example has to be Guccione/Tinto Brass's Caligula (1979).

Notoriously, after Brass and the main cast had gone back to their hotels Guccione smuggled various coked up porn stars and Penthouse Pets on-set to jazz things up a bit.

In truth, the film is so dull that the HC scenes actually help make it a better spectacle.

I actually saw a softcore version of Marilyn Chambers' Insatiable. I don't recall how long it when for, but I imagine it was considerably shorter than the hardcore one.

There were a lot of rumors that Flesh Gordon (1974) was shot as a hardcore film and re-cut to be softcore.

The truth is more boring...it was a softcore skin-flick shot by producers who made their money in hardcore.

Sorry, this was back in the 70's when the Australian film going public had to be shielded for their own good from such things.

Groupie Girl 1970 was an interesting film about a girl who follows a pop band and gets used by one of the guitarists, so there were a few topless scenes and a bit of nudity. It also had the famous Collinson twins in a brief 'menage a trois' scene. However according to IMDb a more hardcore version was later produced. I haven't found it yet. Anyone have a link?

Here in the UK I saw softcore versions of Alex De Renzy's "Babyface" and another film calle
d "Hot Rackets" back in the early 80s thanks to a friend who's parents had a Betamax video and a porn stash. They had been carefully edited to not show any penetration whatsoever, also cum shots had been excised.
