I am afraid that is beyond our control, it's down to the owner, hopefully it will be resolved soon, one way or another.

The downside is that there are now two big red messages on every page which cannot be dismissed.

Since I have never uploaded on Someimage and stopped using Pimp&Crap about four years ago, I have put the following into my userContent.css file to get rid of those annoying messages:

Fair point, I have made the P&H message dismissible.

Though if anyone does use P&H and posts oversized images they will be binned and they might get a formal warning.

I got caught out once on imagevenue when small sized screenshots 250x
were not being converted down to the chosen 180x thumbs

Might still be the case today

You should be using Preview post before finally uploading

Full sized pics not changing to thumbs should be a sign to abort
and find out why

You can cut & paste the post and save as a text file (right click) and then re-enter it easily enough when you find out whats going on.

Most seasoned posters who have lost posts start saving a text file for every upload - good way of reminding yourself you've posted the content and for refinding imagehost gallery links , post number in thread etc.

Imagehost listing of content at the best of times is cumbersome when accounts get too large

I don't know if its coincidence, related, or something else going on, but ever since the posting of the Someimage message and then the subsequent P&H message I have developed a lot of strange problems.

First of all, everytime lately when logging in I get a quick flash of some other porn site attempting to open a new tab, but my Ad Block Plus seems to block it from occurring, However, since that issue began occurring it seems to have caused a 5-10 second delay in the log-in info appearing in the boxes before I can click the log-in button. (I have auto log-in, all I need do is type "c" for my site name and the info/password would instantly load into the boxes.)

Also, navigation has often been brutally slow. Often times I must attempt functions (Click a thread, Post Reply, Submit Reply, etc) a few times before they will work. Often times going to a thread page all posts will be empty and I must leave the page (sometimes will difficulty) then return and the pics will then be there.

I have performed numerous Malwarebytes and Kaspersky scans and they all come up clean with no threads or objects detected.
As I said, this craziness seems to have coincided with the Someimage message.

Can someone please help or suggest something, in layman terms please?

You might fix it easily by disabling all your extensions / add-ons and then enabling them back one at a time to see which is the issue - we know in recent times ad-block plus has had a negative effect on a few sites.....i'd disable all your plugins apart from any security - none are really needed to view VEF...try running something like malwarebytes adw cleaner

This appears to be ad-bloc killing off a " live -jasmine " page

The gallery option is still available at the website, but if you click on a picture here at VEF nothing on the page allows you any access to a gallery. I don't know how long this has been around. I just noticed it.

Never mind. Apparently it was only a temporary problem. The gallery is back.
