Was able to get on yesterday, but in the late afternoon the site wouldn't let me make a post. Seems all okay this morning.
Edit: I'm not able to make a new post in "Favourite Poster of the day ". Either yesterday or today. I was able to post in "Modern Celebs" though.

HTTP vs HTTPS
My computer had a problem finding the site yesterday. I kept getting "Server Cannot Be Found". I wasn't having a problem connecting to any other site so I checked and rechecked my spelling to no avail. Finally, I did a copy and paste of the forum name from a txt file and shazam it worked. The only difference? I had prefaced the url with https instead of http.
The 'S' in HTTPS requests a secure socket from the server and if its not available you get an error message. This will be the first thing I check the next time I have a problem. |
