I did eventually find out what the problem was. It was from Windows with a suggested upgrade/reconfiguration from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I declined as I'm happy with my current configuration with Windows 10. |

Question.
Who can recommend a free data recovery software/tool? I have 'lost' data on a USB drive. I know there's data there, but whenever I plug in my USB stick drive I get a message saying that I need to format the USB. Of course formatting the USB will erase everything that's on it and the data will be lost. |

You could try Recuva.

What AI software are people using to make those awesome images that have been cropping up lately?

http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho....php?p=6702430 Short form: this very simplest -- and least interesting -- is Pornpen. Its based on Stable Diffusion, but a very, very limited implementation of SD -- basically just "tick the boxes and you get a naked girl". Its fun for people to play with for five minutes, but basically what comes out isn't very interesting, all is kinda the same. Essentially all NSFW AI images are being created by Stable Diffusion. You can either run it locally, on your own machine, if you have a good graphics card (Nvidia RTX, 8GB of VRAM and up). You can sorta run it on a high end M1 mac, but its slow. Or you can run it on one of the cloud servers that runs Stable diffusion remotely -- HappyAccidents [dot] AI and Pirate Diffusion are two examples So really, pretty much everything you're seeing is coming from Stable Diffusion, in one flavor or another. I do post some things from Midjourney, which produces beautiful output, but they don't permit NSFW, so you can only get to pinup style, basically. Dalle, the third of the AI technologies, also doesn't permit NSFW. So Stable Diffusion, in one for or another, is pretty much the only game in town for NSFW AI image generation |

Revo uninstaller was once a nice program for really getting remnants of a program uninstall from the registry. Last time i used it, there was a free version and a pro version. It seemed like it invoked the programs uninstaller then went and found those pesky registry remains that can sometimes haunt an uninstall. Anyone use it recently?

You can narrow it down a little if you know when the image was taken (if it's from a known event that will make it easier as you can search the thread for the name of the event, such as Oscars, Emmys, etc) Even if it has already been posted your image might be of better quality. If you don't know when the image as taken just scroll through the final 5 - 6 pages and if it's not there, please post it.
