Exclamation Emmanuelle Riva, a french star in Paradise.

She has left us, she was 89 years old.
Emmanuelle Riva, Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Amour in 2013, director M. Haneke, with also Jean-Louis Trintignant.
How sad.

RIP Lovely Emmanuelle.

And of course RIP to Mr Hurt, one of my fav actor.
He was also, according to many of his actors friends, a man whose good humor was contagious !

Default 'Father of Pac-Man' Masaya Nakamura dies

The founder of video game company Bandai Namco, which released cult game Pac-Man, has died at the age of 91, the firm has announced. Masaya Nakamura established Nakamura Manufacturing, which went on to become the Nakamura Amusement Machine Manufacturing Company (Namco) in 1956. He started out installing two electric horses on the roof of a department store in Japan as amusement rides. He was known as the "father" of Pac-Man because it was a Namco release in 1980. The game was developed by Toru Iwatani and in 2016 was named the highest-grossing arcade game of all time by the website US Gamer. Mr Nakamura was an honorary advisor at Bandai Namco until his death on 22 January. He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, a Japanese government honour, in 2007 and was inducted into the International Video Game Hall of Fame in 2010.

Very late about John Hurt. I just realized he was in Alien, one of those things where I didn't keep tabs on who was in it apart from knowing beforehand that Sigourney Weaver was in it, knowing about Veronica Cartwright and recognizing Yaphet Kotto and Ian Holm. On the flipside I knew going into The Elephant Man that he was in it, and that was an awesome performance, the movie overall is great. Learning about his passing, alongside Mary Tyler Moore and now the Masaya Nakamura one, I don't think it's a 2016 anymore, major figures in entertainment passing away. It's just that by now, all these veterans and innovators are just getting up there. It's more a miracle that similarly older people have not passed away (still looking at Ozzy Osbourne).

Oh and I played Pac-Man before, I think on Sega Genesis, definitely Ms. Pac-Man on the console as well. So this is affecting to me. I don't know if he was involved in Dragon Ball games, that's a property of Bandai-Namco. Anyways, may all the recently deceased rest in peace...

except for Jimmy Snuka. Okay, ehh, just had a "Welp" moment when he passed, it was inevitable and plus his legacy is forever tarnished, so in my opinion, it was hard to have sympathy for him. Easy definitely to sympathize with his loved ones.
