Uploaded Issues

Hi all. I am again asking if anyone has been unable to DL from Uploaded, as a free user. There is alot of stuff on this forum being posted that I'd like to get, but I am completely gobsmacked as to why it wont work for me. I've tried cookies on/off, pop-ups blocked/not blocked. Any other suggestions? I've given up trying, then I try again because so much goodies being posted with it. I'll have it auto-translated to english (from german), hit the button, & it goes to 'Preparing' & nothing happens. Or before that it'll say something to the effect of 'try again in so many minutes. Ugh! Any helps appreciated. Thanks, Footsie.

Yes, I've downloaded lots from them as a free user over the last year and I've found so many links for TV shows, old films, comics and magazines that I am after that I've bought premium membership there.
I can only say keep trying. What I do notice is that it works far better using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as the browser, using Internet Explorer gives me some of the issues you mention above so I avoid it whenever I use Uploaded.

Thats some really good advice, Yes do keep trying & also try different web browsers I have found its allways been a wise & productive action to take especially when trying to download content either from a hosting site or just from the main source directly from a website. Infact I have found when you join a website & you contact their support if upon finding a problem downloading movie files, the first question they will ask you is what web browser are you using.

2. Make sure such helpfull internet aids such as plugins, java, flash media that sort of thing is fully upto date. As I have found this causes many issues on websites, such as when you have those frustrating captcha codes to enter. The issue with Uploaded maybe just as simple as updating a plugin, java or flash buy downloading updates from each of their websites/options within those individual programs on your pc in their own options settings.

3. Try to be patient with Uploaded, plus what may help you futher is explaining exactly what happens within this thread what happens to you in detailed steps on the Uploaded site, from the moment you click on the page that you are trying to download from.

4. Some other general advice to think about on the Uploaded website:

4.a. What happens when you click the button "free download"
4.b. If you can click the "free download" after you have clicked,
can you see a countdown.
4.c. If you clicked "free download" have waited for the countdown to finish, does a captcha code box appear.
4.d. If you are able to do the steps above, what exactly happens after you enter the number/letter captcha codes given by the Uploaded site.

5. Also be aware that after downloading you have to wait 2 hours before you can download again.

6. Any further detailed information you could possibly give to our friendly members/staff in this thread would really be helpfull to try to assist you futher.

Hello Blue, sorry it took a day to get back to this, but I wrote down the exact steps like you asked, which is the same as all the other times I've tried Uploaded, but here they are.

1) Click link on a thread for file I want, it opens the Uploaded window & auto-translates to English from German.

2) I press 'Free Download, current wait time 30 seconds' button

3) a pop-up happens, even though I have my pop-up blocker on. I close it.

4) Download.am window on screen, I close it.

5) Another pop-up happens, even with my pop-up blocker on. I close it.

6) Screen now has 'Preparation... Nan Sekunden warten' button in place of 'Free Download' one. Nothing happens after this. I can wait 5 sec, 5 min, or 5 years, but thats all she wrote. Every time its exactly like this no matter what my cookie/pop-up settings are.

Any help/idea's from you or anyone else are appreciated. Thanks.

Saying what Operating system + browser + relevant add-ons your using a close 2nd

The pop-ups and translation are easily remedied using a different browser

Firefox or Palemoon + ad-block plus + no script

but any individual file can be a nightmare to access for free users for far too many reasons
to list them individually

Too many trying to access it is the most common one when a post is first made
That can go on for weeks if your trying to access them manually given most these days are using the likes of jdownloader especially for large multi-part films on filehosts with large waiting times and slow download speeds.

The biggest issue with uploaded is their 1 captcha option which unlike every other host
doesnt give you a refreshed new option...at least that was my last experience months ago
