It's a little difficult to call this an unfolded mystery when the info is the same as is in the original mystery post. Should we leave this one open for a bit longer?

I can see the temptation because we'd all prefer a better handle than Cassie @simon scans.

To me it's almost like it's more difficult when we already have a handle (regardless of whether it comes in one or two parts), because then we're looking for any other or a better known as handle, but if nothing turns up then we seem to just keep on waiting & hoping.

I don't wish to muddy the waters by bringing in a different model, but I do so here merely as an example to illustrate a concept: Elizabeth Johnson. There we have a two-part name from a mag. whose names we've used many times before--even though they're probably no more "reliable" than other mags.--but we leave her in MIR because we started out looking for any other names, & having failed to find one within random time period x, we continue to hold out the hope that if we wait a bit longer, something might turn up.

Does MIR need some time limits for models where we already have a partial handle?

OK, EJ is a bit different from Cassie because of the 2-part name business. In Cassie's case instead of a second name we have an index site entry.

Maybe instead of a fixed time limit (too arbitrary), perhaps whenever we come to this sort of a question: should/shouldn't we, then if we decide on a "no" for now then a time limit should immediately be imposed: if nothing more gets added for her in the next x months, then we change our initial "no" to a "yes" & release her from MIR--because such a release sometimes may trigger just the sort of additional info. that we were waiting for but not getting inside MIR?

I understand what you are saying. Leaving it open longer is not a bad thing. Adding an indexxx link (or any recommended bio link) seems strange to call it additional content. That is why I put unfolded.
