I have just run across the images of Maggie McCully I posted on this thread elsewhere on VEF. This series:



Since I did the 'restoration' work I can recognise it.

I did not scan these images and have simply re-worked them to remove scratches and other blemishes, a point I hoped I made clear; I thank all those whose original interest allowed me to start work. This takes a lot of time and effort. I am delighted to do this for the team; obviously I have benefited myself and it is a pleasure to share. However, I am scrupulous about thanking other posters and I wish this were so for all. I have noticed on some images I've accessed the counter records very high figures for views but much smaller ones on the poster's 'thanks' box. I suppose one has to accept this. But may I say I would never have had the pleasure if it were not for the many hands which make VEF and this thread in particular so rewarding. Could others please note.

It would be nice if members acknowledged one another, particularly so in regard to senior ones from whom I would expect better. (If I am thrown off VEF for this, it's been nice to work with you!)

I won't ban you (this time) but this point is off topic on a picture thread such as this one. You might like to read this thread and possibly discuss you own view there.
