Betamax-to-DVD transfers in U.S.? [Moved]

Anyone know a reliable mailorder service in the U.S. to transfer Betamax tapes to DVD? Video Search of Miami used to do this but they don't do Beta anymore. There are some services on Ebay but I don't know if they handle commercial or adult material. I only have a few tapes and don't want to shell out for a Beta deck. Thanks in advance for any info.

Did you know you can remove the spools from a Betamax cartridge & transfer them to a VHS cartridge & it will play on a VHS machine. I've done it before & it worked fine. Hope this helps.

It's a long shot, but I sent a request over at Planet Suzy help forum asking for anyone doing BETA transfer. I offered to mail it to them free of charge & let them keep tape for the hassle, so long as they posted it on the forum. If I don't get any takers I'm going to try the spool swap suggested.

I have repaired hard to find VHS tapes, at least well enough to get a transfer. Didn't even think of this, cool suggestion.
