If you disable anything security wise make sure your surfing inside a program like sandboxie

it is def. kaspersky - afaik it's the pro-active security mechanism which listens directly at the ports of the network connection.

that said, i also think that progs like sandboxie would compete against that mechanism so i had to disable the pro-active security from kaspersky when i want to use such a tool to avoid conflicts. and without wanting to make advertisment - i really don't like to do that cause i am very pleased with the security of kaspersky. it's not the fastest, and when starting windows it takes a hell of time before it lets you do anything - but its safety and update-frequency is the best i know.

nope. do not really like the site but no problems with them that are their fault. just really lame methods that are used occasionally.

Just incase anyone was wondering why there have been so many maintenance outages like the current 5 hour one that started not that loing ago

No desaster until now - *bam works fine a.t.m....need to say that I upgraded to FFox 3.5 yesterday, upgraded the extentions to work with and everything seems really trouble-free for the time being (
