The Easiest Way To Download Youtube Clips

Discovered this the other day and don't know if anyone else is aware but there is a simple way of getting your vids off youtube. More simple than any of these download programmes or third party download sites.
Here's what you do. Open the page where the required video is and in the address bar type in "ok" after the www. and then press enter. For example www.okyoutube.com/watch...........
It will save a a flash file.

Thanks eelcat. Sounds a lot like http://www.google.com.au/search?sour...ownloader+free which is okay, but you still need to convert to another file type in order to burn to a disc.
At least I personally can't get flash files or FLV's onto discs.

I really miss vixynet!
Still there but last few times I tried I had no audio.. at all

I use Super converter or Riva flv encoder to convert to avi or mpeg files

I find Super Converter is probably the most user friendly and can convert any format to any format.

If you use Firefox Easy Youtube downloader lets you choose what format to download in,flv mp3 mp4 even 720p in some cases.

I use Google Chrome and use Y2Mate.

I use Jdownloader2
Copy & paste the page url into the linkgrabber tab (ctrl+v)
Select the link for the best quality video (i.e. the largest MP4 file)
Click "Continue with selected link(s)" or delete the unwanted links & add to the download list

I use 4K Video Downloader for YT. It downloads vids from plenty of other sites too.
