I love 'We Have all the Time in the World' by Louis Armstrong in O.H.M.S.S. although I am not a fan of his jazz stuff, but you cannot help get a lump in the throat when you consider how ill Armstrong was when he recorded it, yet it tugs at the heartstrings and somehow you truly believe that Bond and Tracy will get married and live happily ever after. I also think you should also consider 'For Your Eyes Only' by Sheena Easton and the much maligned 'Moonraker' by Shirley Bassey and 'All Time High' from Octopussy by Rita Coolidge(at the time considered one of the worst Bond tunes)-until Die Another Day-Madonna and 'You Know My Name' by Chris Cornell(Casino Royale) and 'Another Way to Die'(Jack White & Alicia Keys(Quantum of Solace) came along. How we have come along since those with Oscar winners 'Skyfall' & Spectre('Writing's On the Wall') Adele and Sam Smith respectively.

I hate Another Way To Die from QOS. 3 minutes of shouting. The lyrics of Moonraker make no sense. I still like it because the melody is haunting and Shirley was excellent in her Bond swansong.

Story goes that Shirley Manson recorded another tune but they used Sheryl Crow's version instead. Anyone hear Dame Judi Dench (formerly 'M' narrate a poem in the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics last Friday?
