Need help accessing an old thread of mine.

Hi admins,

I would like to access an old thread dated 01-28-2012.

Unfortunately, I get the usual warning:

"you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

I'm just looking for the answer. If someone could PM it to me, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The thread was removed by staff so you cannot access that area of the forum.

Ok, next question.. Any idea why it was deleted? I still see old posts from 2010 onwards.

It was in the old Movie/ID request section and that entire section was removed when we did the restructuring for two separate sections.

Also, the picture in your post was dead.

The lesson to be learned

When ever you post - especially requests - save a text copy and take a screenshot

Subscribing or bookmarking are nice in the short term but will die more often than not in the long run for various reasons
