Lesbian/Bi Playmates?

I've wondered for a while. While Playboy themselves probably want to present all their models as, well, straight (and so "attainable", girl next door, etc.), are there any who have later come out as lesbian or even bi? Or have been outed, or even just rumored?



I don't want to do any wild speculation but over several decades they have to have had a few not-straight women model.

I always got the impression that Carrie Westcott and Shae Marks were really into each other. It might have been just rumors/good acting.

There was Stephanie Adams, I suppose, even if she changed her mind a few years later.

Rebekka Armstrong is the most notable bi Playmate.

Jennifer Rovero was dating another model named Lauren Wasser who has a very tragic story. This was in the early 2010s.

Pam Horton is bi and was open about it on her Playmate data sheet & in interviews she did at the time. She might be the only Playmate who was actually out when she was made a Playmate, rather than later on.

Ida Ljungqvist and one of the Shannon twins were "dating" at some point, but I think it was more an attempt to get onto paparazzi/gossip sites than anything real.

Don't know how much stock I would put in that, but I think that generally speaking, one would expect something like 20-25 PMs (between 3-4%) to have been gay/lesbian trough the years, with maybe an upper treshold of some four times that number on the bisexual/homosexual spectrum. The societal acceptance of this have of course varied through the years, and the commercial incentives of keeping that "under wraps" as it were, from the part of PB, a company dealing in sexual fantasy geared overwhelmingly towards heterosexual men, is obvious. Which is a long-winded way of saying that we will never really know, but that statistically speaking something like one (1) out of every 15 to 20 PMs probably was more into other girls than...well, men.

A lot of the rogue PMs from the 80s & 90s had girl/girl pictures on their sites including videos.

Victoria Zdrok is definitely bisexual as evidenced by the recent hardcore video she did earlier this year. Before her b/g action in that video, she had participated in lesbian action on many occasions. Victoria did some touch/feely with PMOY Debra Jo Fondren (pictures), too. She also did a girl/girl with Lynn Thomas on a DVD release.

As regards Zdrok, Thomas, and Fondren, gay for pay is not the same as being lesbian or bi. What goes on in front of the camera is a job, not necessarily the model's real life.

True - Carrie Westcott and Shae Marks have been very convincing in photo and video shoots, as was Jennifer Rovero with Sydney Moon, but that may have been strictly for the camera.

That being said, there was a sitcom called (I think) "It's Like, You Know," and a female character asked if every male's fantasy was that every woman is a lesbian, and he said, "No - that every woman is bi."
