The concept of "spin-off" Star Wars movies. Rogue One was intended as the first of these, though it also bridges the gap between Episode 3 and Episode 4. Rogue One just shows the Death Star becoming operational, and the Rebels around Jyn Erso being killed to the last (wo-)man.

But what I really hate about the Disney, money-making, "new Star Wars every year" thing, is that their choice of actors is getting to be poor. Benicio del Toro and the guy who's going to play a young Han Solo are two examples: Benicio del Toro looks like a caricature of a bad guy (think Sleazy P. Martini of GWAR) and the young Han Solo actor doesn't even look like Harrison Ford. YouTube even had a bit actor who very strongly resembles Ford, but Disney decided not to use him? I won't even see the Star Wars spinoffs, most likely.
