The writing and James Spaders whimsical delivery of the one liners that keeps me watching :-

Man wakes up to see Raymond Reddington sitting on the edge of his bed waving a pistol " Is this memory foam ? "

The final episode of season 2 of The leftovers. Some of the weirdest but most entertaining TV I've seen in a long time. I only hope there's a satisfactory conclusion to the last season...no stupid Lost type ending.

I'm just at the start of season 2, so please don't say any more :-) I have heard the final part ties things up quite well. So far, it's been sufficiently strange to be quite entertaining. Still no idea what the smoking women in white is about!

Caught up on episodes 1 to 11 of Agents of SHIELD series 5
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2364582/episodes

I have to say this season didn't really grab me early on with the change in location (no spoilers but you can look on imdb) but slowly getting into it with each episode. I can see some elements linking to future Marvel big screen releases.

Buckle yourself in when you get to season 3. They slide the WTF-O-meter up to ten. Brilliant.

Season 5 has been great, at least to me. That first half of the season seems slow sometimes, but it all makes sense later. Second half of the season is much better. Last few episodes of the season are awesome.

Watched the first two episodes of Iolo's Snowdonia on BBC iplayer. A wonderfully relaxing, well-judged nature documentary.

If you don't enjoy this guy's understated presenting style you have no soul. His quiet enthusiasm for the wildlife and landscape of this beautiful part of the the world is thoroughly enchanting.

A must watch if you like this kind of slow-telly.
