wanted to start an additional content thread in the mystery corner.. either it didn't work at all and the post was dropped by the system or you've changed the settings so that new threads have to be granted first before they become visible - which is a good idea to avoid unwanted threads, but it should be announced somewhere (whatever the settings are).
if section is closed for new threads, you should as well disable the "start new thread" button. a post could have been hard work and the lost of it could be a major pita. lucky me it wasn't that much time i invested to create it.

When working in "Moderation" mode I can see a new thread in the Mystery Corner, entitled [mystery - additional content] Jeanette Love? or lookalike.
It is showing as an "unapproved" thread, but now that I have checked it, it should be visible to all. http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t30...lookalike.html Being relatively new to Modding, I'm not sure if software settings have been changed in recent months, and/or if the MB instructions require some revisions. I will flag the thread for review by Pepper II, and expect that he will be able to provide some guidance. Last edited by highwayman274; March 11th, 2016 at 05:01 PM.. but still, my thread is not visible for the public yet. an admin should check that all moderator groups or at least all assigned MIR moderators are able to approve new threads. and may think about a notification somewhere. actually, for a regular member it feels like posting directly to trashbin (= the thread seems to be instantly lost as soon as you submit it). no words about that the new thread is batched for approval. addendum: I've noticed from the copy i still have of the unapproved thread that i've missed to add the pointer to the mystery request. that doesn't make much sense this way, so here it is - and the content I'd like to add (may just add it to the request post, it's just a small addition anyways..) mystery request: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho....php?p=1598808 additional content: Quote:

All new threads should be started in the regular section and one of us will move it to the Mystery Corner at some point. This policy is already outlined in the Mystery Corner Info and posting rules.

I'll be away Friday, Saturday, and most of Sunday. So take it easy on highwayman and be patient. I'll tidy up when I return. Thanks.

Mice will play.
By the by: the cops may be after some(?) of us... in order to offer us money/a career. But first one has to do well in their little test. There's always a catch... in the game of catch, or fumble. Code:

They have nothing on some of the super-sleuths from this department! But I'm not sure anyone would want to put 'highly regarded model identification expert on a pornography forum' on their resume.

Any reason why the Zoey/Megan Vale ID thread from yesterday was deleted?
I felt sure it was her, but another forum member (highwayman?) wasn't as convinced... Is she subject to a take-down notice (I know she's now a professional bodybuilder now, so perhaps she's seeking to erase certain aspects of her past career?) or perhaps there was some kind of violation of VEF protocols? |
