I like porn, as do many, many, many (infinite) and nothing here is sick or evil, thanks to the mods and community which is why i try to contribute what i enjoy. So what if ggle have that information, realistically I have nothing to hide and we are not even close to encroaching the 'dark web' .

But if they do have enough info about your different queries, they would be able to design a complete mirror of your personality. That happens automatically (no persons involved) like those analyse-robots for the stock exchanges are working principally. With this is any kind of missuses are possible, if persons getting involved. ... or what else does them attract in: if you're possible gay, interested in porn, in weapons, in political special topics you're having a dog, a car (offers, insurances), ect. ect. ect. ... to save this with a big effort and though expenses ?

Google do target people on what they search for already, usually with adverts (to be fair, i block most on the pc but it is far more apparent if im browsing on my phone) such is the price of 'free' software. Apple are worse, they truly believe if you 'rent' (no one owns) an apple device, they own your soul.
I dont mind sharing information on my searches. I think if i did, i just wouldnae use the computer or internet at all. I can ignore targeted adverts and the vast pile of emails relegated to the spam folder and google are not the worst for selling client information.

I have been using Google Chrome ever since I first got my PC which was in August of 2010. I like it, but I use the computer for only the most simple of tasks. Now though I have downloaded Firefox on my computer because those nasty f....ers at Google Chrome say that starting sometime in April they will no longer support Windows Vista and XP , and stop getting security updates. I think they may be doing this because they want computer users to get new systems, but millions of users have stated that they won't get new systems just so they can use Google Chrome. They will do what I did, which is just use another browser.

Try this engine
Try this engine:
English: https://www.startpage.com/eng/ German: https://www.startpage.com/deu/ called StartPage. It's a Dutch company, behind is the GOOGLE search engine. The data of of the search it's getting transmitted (to the mother), but not the IP or a fake IP of the person who is searching - as far as I understood. There are too no cookies. StartPage is in 18 Languages available. I think, one can live with that kind of "anonymity".

You guys can try DuckDuckGo, they say they don't track you and they don't store your personal information. This means there should be no cookies, although I didn't check my system's web cache to see if that's true.

I've recently switched from Google Chrome to Opera as my browser. Got fed up with that unremovable message telling me that Google Chrome will no longer be updating itself due to my 'outdated' o/s (Windows XP). Still using Google as a search engine though.
I sometimes get the feeling that Google, Youtube, eBay, Amazon and Facebook are all somehow linked or in 'cahoots' with each other as the ads I get on one site are for the very same things I was only just looking at on one of the others (spooky). That's the power of cookies I suppose. |
