Default Virus on site?

I am using Windows 7 with Microsoft Security Essentials installed.

I DONT have Java installed.

Last two days when visiting this site Microsoft Security Essential has flagged up adeysn.in.ua (web site?).

It then finds Java virus Exploit: JS/Fiexp.C

You can see more on this virus on the Microsoft security page here

The site you list definitely has an issue. However, I do not see that site listed in the ads here currently. I will check with tech admin to be sure.

In recent days, I've had some anti-virus warning appearing when logging onto VEF and they have indicated malware (just says URL:Mal) coming from an address that partly reads "*******.org." The string contains the letters JS. (Java?)

I've also had a few suspicious popups with boxes also appearing when clicking onto VEF pictures. These lock things up and won't delete. I immediately shut the browser down with Task Manager and dump all my temporary files with CCleaner. Nothing has turned up when running full AV scans on my system.

But I think all is not quite right on this site at the moment.

I've sent a message to the sysadmin with a description of the issue. Hopefully it can be tracked down and resolved soon.

It probably would be prudent to disable Javascript unless you really need it. Also, I try not to run Java unless its necessary.

I keep getting pop ups telling me I need to update Java. The pages on the forum are taking a very long time to load. Think I will give you a couple days to figure it out.

Well, if you must run Java make sure its up to date. I don't know if those pop ups you are getting are genuine update notifications but you can disable Javascript from your respective browser.
