What do you think Hillary's performance in national elections was about? Crime bill, Welfare reform, INS buildup all that made his base look at him a certain way, especially over time and when Hillary did some of the same policies while the democratic voters started going left she ended up being out of touch so much so she ended up losing a primary to this black dude in Chicago and then a general to a real-estate mogul from New York.

It probably worked for McCain (the so-called maverick) but for the rest, not so much. The chickenshits of the republican party.

2. Business: The vast number of American business who have come to rely on an endless supply of cheap, disposable labor. As nobody cracked down on illegal hiring for the past 8 years, it's run rampant. It's mostly in the areas where employers can get away with paying cash-- lawn mowing, drywall, painting, roofing, etc. Last I looked, you still need a tax identification number to open a bank account here. You don't need one to buy money orders to send home. In places that comply with the law regarding eligibility (I-9), you don't see illegals.

3. The Amerlcan left: This group is comprised of the lot of the democrat party, those that fund it, and their accomplices in the establishment media. Every one of them will do what they can to keep the illegals here in hopes that by some twist of fate they're granted amnesty. Once that happens, they see a treasure trove of 25,000,000 new democrat voters just waiting to be harvested.
ok I see you have the players. I ould put the media in category 2 instead of 3. I would not worry about categoris 1 & 3, they either have no real power (3) or is at the beckon call of the real power (1).2 is really who you realay have to worry about.

Surprised The Sun’s editors even ran with this story... The author, a Lauren Windle, appears to have taken issue with a woman wearing what they consider to be more-revealing attire. From the outset I state that I personally find nothing whatsoever wrong with the attire worn by the models or women in general, either legally and morally.

Quote:
WHAT A BOOB! QVC face ANOTHER embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as underwear model’s nipples visible live on air

https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/2791...e-live-on-air/
Yeah, it came from The Sun, of all people. I considered posting the image but was worried about copyright, not to mentioning burning your eyes with such a hideous sight as that portrayed by said author.

The model in question was wearing attire that appears to do nothing more than accentuate the female form. The nipples are not fully visible; they are concealed. So a bra gives a hint of a nipple? Well, blow me over. Never seen that before.

And as many who are familiar with The Sun will attest, such attire is absolutely nothing compared to the openly sexualised, explicit, and provocative nature of its daily output. That is not what I am taking issue with; rather, the double standards at play. Why pick up on this? What’s “embarrassing” about it? It is simply under-wear for adults, for Christ’s sake. Do you folks find anything offensive about it? I really don’t like the message she’s preaching here.

So all in all I cannot see any “incident” here, beyond whipping up sensationalist rubbish for reasons known only to the author, and the paper she works for. I think she literally needs to grow a pair..

Australian Green Party stupidity

They're a bunch of, not sure really

They don't like D Trump Neither do I

But .... I was listening to their leader today on talk back radio, Richard Di Natale is his name. I thought they had Green Issues to deal with, but they seem to be far more pre occupied with political correctness

I tried to find an article but it was late afternoon I heard this and probably not in the press yet,

This is the closest I can find

http://richard-di-natale.greensmps.o...s/donald-trump

Anyway He wants to have Trump denied a Visa for Australia Like that's gonna achieve anything. He don't want Trumps politics here. You know, hate speech, sexist comments and blah blah blah blah.

Trust me, I am in no way a Trump fan, the only thing I like about him is that he speaks his mind and ain't afraid to do it, in a strange way I admire that, something lacking in most politicians.

But, to deny the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth entry into your country because he makes stupid comments is dumb. If one can brush off a racist or sexist comment, that makes one stronger, shielding one from anything makes one weaker ........ That's what our Greens like doing, hiding the real world from theor proposed Utopia

I'm a big believer in let the idiot speak and let them expose themselves for what they are.

Now that everyone is talking about Trump, I will let everyone know that my city (Cincinnati, OH, USA) recently had to foot the bill for Trump's extra security detail every time he was here. Trump actually visited the 'Nati 14 times in the past year.

You'd think with all that money, he'd pay for some increased security, but no...

I really don't care if there is a such thing as "gay conservative Republicans", but just being anything other than liberal or left-wing on a college campus is asking for some trouble. This is particularly true of Berkeley, CA, which is the Vatican City of liberalism.

I'm glad that I finished college in the early 2000s, and now I'm looking at a trade union apprenticeship that is advertised as "The Other Four-Year Degree"...
Berkeley and Oakland border on each other. We have been plagued with a group of anarchists here ever since the occupy movement. News footage shows a group of masked individuals entering into a crowd of peaceful student demonstrators and initiating violent attacks on the campus police monitoring the crowd. THESE WERE NOT STUDENTS. The campus is mostly Asian anymore and has a tradition of allowing dissenters of all persuasions their say. Much has changed since the 1960s when folks like Herbert Marcuse were on the faculty.

To continue with our "Trumped-up" discussion -- to misquote Hillary! -- I am currently in a training group with two directors and a more liberal/progressive crowd of people learning cognitive enhancement.

One of the directors, who resembles George Carlin (the noted liberal-leaning comic and time traveler of Bill & Ted fame), endlessly talks about Trump and occasionally insults Republican politicians, including even Reagan. In the space of a few weeks, this director has said that Trump is too straightforward -- he considers it bad that Trump "speaks his mind" and wins support -- and makes it sound like Linda McMahon or Sylvester Stallone, and people like them, will dominate the Trump Administration.

The other director is more quiet about her liberalism, but seems to believe in universal, free college education, a subject on which she thinks Europe is right. She is welcome to her opinion, but I think college is not for everyone, and other ways of career success such as apprenticeships (which are more common in Europe) might be just as valid for us.

I agree that college isn't for everyone. One of my best friends growing up tried college, realized it wasn't for him and joined the Air Force. He retired as a supremely qualified loadmaster with a high non-com rank. And yes, steering people into apprenticeships is extremely valid for us as the ranks of skilled professions such as plumbers, carpenters, electricians and others are growing older and fewer young people are going into those professions.
