Bad idea. The French government needs to admit that partly the reason these terrorists are attacking them, along with the rest of the EU and the US is that those contries have been attacking their homelands whether it's been bombings orcountries regime change and in essence the citizenry is paying for the deeds of the governments involved.

Are you suggesting that the Muslim world might have some very real grievances against the Britain, France, and the United States?

I was being sarcastic, BTW, in recalling the inability of the French to tolerate Protestants in their midst. The French Revolution, Dreyfus Affair, and collusion in the Holocaust make me a little dubious about France's commitment to diversity and freedom of thought. Admittedly, Muslims indulging in mass murders in Western nations is asking for extraordinary amounts of tolerance.

Yup, the outrage over the King Tut skit/song smacks of knee-jerk hypocrisy and stupidity through and through. SNL did tons of stuff like that in the early days. I'd bet some snowflake saw this one clip and triggered. Hadn't better show them the job interview/word association skit with Richard Pryor. Or the "Kill the White People" reggae skit with Eddie Murphy, or "Cottonland" with Murphy and Stevie Wonder, or "Black History Moment with Shabzz K. Morton" or "White Like Me" both with Murphy too. Better yet how about the parody of "Ebony & Ivory" with Pispoco and Murphy as Sinatra and Stevie Wonder respectively. Murphy as Jesse Jackson singing "Hymie-Town"... Perhaps they might trigger at the granddaddys of them all: "Buckwheat" and "Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood". Nah... not a single one of those skits has racial overtones at all...

Its also pretty ridiculous that snowflakes are just now making noise over this when the song/skit first premiered just about 40 years ago or so. I guess there isn't any racism in modern society to trigger and protest about, so they have to go digging through history to find something to make a highly suspect and dubious claim. Like there isn't anything else with racial overtones to be found in society over the last 40+ years...

Furthermore the King Tut skit is part of what many consider (myslef included) to be one of the greatest SNL episodes ever.

By the way all of the Eddie Murphy skits are on his SNL best of comp. I've had it on VHS since the late 80s early 90s. I don't ever really recall hearing any outrage over it, ever...?! But a white guy singing about and Egyptian: whoa there boy...hide the wimmen-folk and the children, circle the wagons and get ready for the blizzard cause the snowflakes are going on the offensive.
