Thanks for the info Dimitri. After seeing several "dropped" posts, I was getting a wee bit nervous.

This might possibly be related to Dimitri Yar's message above about imagebam maintenance but... Has anyone else noticed that the magnifier for the fullsize image won't work unless Adblock Plus is disabled?

I've encountered it a bunch so far this evening.

Example link:http://www.imagebam.com/image/63cffb415048558

BTW not that it matters, but ABP is running on FF28 (yeah I hated the new interface enough to not upgrade).

Not me. However the magnifier requires JavaScript, so if you use NoScript, you need to permit scripts from imagebam.com.

Previously ImageBam would give you the full-size version of the image if JavaScript was disabled, now they use CSS to tell the browser to resize the image.

That is probably it. Strange though: I have NoScript installed but disabled. Been like that for so long I had to make sure that I did actually have it on my machine. :shrugs:

Just for the record: Let's face it, most of these pics got lost forever.

Anyway, ImageBam is still the most reliable image host I know of.

I've been unable to log into imagevenue for the last few hours. Moreover since yesterday, I've noticed that some imagevenue links have died. I didn't mention it then because I thought it was perhaps some glitch that would be fixed by morning but alas it has not. But in browsing the Sam Fox thread, I noticed dead imagevenue links in the same fashion as was apparent in the the 2014 hack though not in the same quantity at least for now.

Yes I spotted that yesterday (18th) too, a JPG I had uploaded to IV just the day before had disappeared. Here's hoping they will all re-appear in due course ....

I note that keep2share is a popular service here, and I've subscribed in the past, but last time I tried to buy a month's worth, I got bounced out to their "re-sellers." All of these quote different prices, and the one I tried said they'd get back to me within "10 minutes to 36 hours", but never did (fortunately, I hadn't paid anything yet). When I asked, the k2s help desk kept repeating the same useless suggestion -- I suspect their staff doesn't really speak English.

Is there any reliable way to sign up with these guys?
