Sexual abuse stories are hard ones to call, because there are cases where the conspiracy theory has some validity (the Catholic Church in Ireland, for example) and others where teh conspiracy stories are false.

In Dutroux, you have very serious allegations by a Judge on the case, but I can't say that I understand the facts well enough to say whether there's a cover up here or what.

So far as I can see, though, Dutroux was a monster, and the police weren't particularly competent. I don't see an obvious factual basis for the assertion of conspiracy. I certainly buy that there are corrupt and incompetent officials, and Belgium has had its issues, but i don't believe that there's any complicity in Belgian elite circles with child murder.

Dutroux was a sociopath, a monster, and those guys don't mingle well . .

well my friend , here are a few facts -
after reading and watching videos about this case im pretty sure that there were a a high class pedo ring , and that Dutroux wasnt working alone . 1 - he wasnt very smart and didnt had a job , still he had 5 big houses and villas . where did he got the money ? . 2 - his wife and a guy that worked 4 him said that the girls were "ordered " . 3 - his mother and his friend told the police that he had girls in his cellar , but the police did nothing about it , although they were missing girls at the time .4 - key witnesses disappeared \ killed at the time of the trial .

I don't recall mentioning Venezuala or Iran in my post.... Just checked, Nope I didn't I did post a picture of two nutcases from those countries though

There's an entire world out there, not just England and Australia.... And if not talking about countries... then there are individual citizens of any country. Not just singling out Chavez, but any leader who's even half a dictator.

I could not care less if there was a conspiracy behind Chavez death or not, really I don't... He's gone and good riddance.....

Sad to say, Billy, but I fear the right you exercise to question and criticise the government wouldn't mean Jack Shit under the likes of Chavez, so I for one am not shedding any tears.

As for Mr. Shouty-Angry on the YouTube clip, everything's a bleedin' conspiracy as far as he's concerned. It seems to be almost a religion to him, and like a religion, it gives him the answers he wants. Well, good luck to him. As long as he's happy being angry.
