It's hard to believe that talented presenters like Carol (& Claire Sweeney) are having to do jobs like this now, but then everyone knows that the people who run tv hate to see even one wrinkle; unless the women are presenting the news, and therefore making it look more serious....

True, but Carol has admitted that TV is geared towards younger female presenters, and so has moved on.

Carol is now a successful entrepreneur, having set up a business (selling pants, yes, pants

) with her partner Annabel Croft. It's called Diary Doll and is turning into quite a big success of late, with an International Market.

She still does TV regularly on STV, is currently presenting a show at the moment called 'Finding Scottish Heroes'.

Carol's adapted, well done her I say
