From the Japanese Playmates Collection 2. This picture was mis-identified (by the editors of the Japanese Photo book) as being Martha Thomsen, when it it as actually Dorothy. Thanks to lynchfan for the ID.

I remember back when Dorothy was PM and then PMOY. Like many here, I have those issues. I was shocked when she was murdered- worse still when the story came out to see how one Svengali-like man had done this to her... and not that Peter Bogdanovich was really any better to her. She just didn't know how to tell these bastards to eff off.

Anyway, here's some pre-PB shots of Dorothy.

There were 2 movies made about Dorothy's tragic death- one was "Death of a Centerfold" with Jamie Lee Curtis- made for TV. The other was Bob Fosse's "Star 80" (the tag on Stratten's car), played by Mariel Hemingway. I didn't think Mariel really had the look of Dorothy- here I think is a good example of what I mean as one compares photos of Dorothy's centerfold with Mariel's. From a French magazine:
