I'm lucky enough to have super fast broadband. I never buy any physical or digital box sets, I just try what's available on services I'm subscribed to such as Netflix, NowTV and Amazon Prime. I recently cancelled my Netflix subscription after reactivating it. There is far too much focus on box sets and many of the films are sub-standard junk.

Modern TV - sooooo, splitting up sports to various channels you need to subscribe to is good for the consumer as it's 'choice' (supposedly - as we're so often told). But it's more like blackmail to get people to pay for channels you don't want or need ie if you're a football or motorsports fan. (thank heavens for t'interwebs 'streams'). Combine this with ridiculous repetition of the same episodes as well as spliting up series of same show to randomly show various episodes from various series.

Sports pundits (especially BBC's) - just dire, but Osi Umenyiora on NFL round up does make me chuckle, shame Mike Carlson is not deemed worthy, that'd be a great double team.

Yes, DJ's = talent less bull shitters who actually believe they have and brains.
