Had the Pats game on the computer and Red Zone on the tv. Red Zone can be an exciting watch at times.
Kudos to Dropped on the Giants call. Didn't see that happening at all.

We have the Vikes beating the Packers and the Giants beating Denver due to the Packers and Broncos losing their QBs during the games. Aaron Rodgers may well be lost for the rest of the year. Brett Hundley, a 2015 5th round pick out of UCLA, who had completed 3 passes in 11 attempts over the past 1.3 seasons, is now the starting QB. Hundley completed 67% of his passes and ran effectively in colllege. So, he may do OK when he's getting 1st team reps.

I got crushed this week 5 -8 going into tonight's game.

In other news, Colin Kaepernick has filed a grievance against the NFL, its owners, coaches and executives alleging collusion and conspiring to deprive him of his livelihood. Since several QBs have been signed who have not won division titles or taken a team to the Super Bowl, and, coincidentally, have poorer completion percentages and lack the speed to break off long rushing gains, the owners have a lot of explaining to do.

Colin kaepenick unfortunately is just a victim of his own stupidity, no one wants their players to be more focused on political agendas then putting fans in their seats. Also did he not opt out of his San Fran contract? I think that's like shooting yourself in the foot with the gun aimed at your dick, you shot them both.

Except that there is another QB who has Kaep's skill set and he's also unemployed: Robert Griffin III. Kaep might be getting blackballed, but if the NFL needs an explanation there it is.

I want to knit a quilt out of Colin Kaepernick's hair and donate it to the Dogs Without Homes Foundation.

Kyle Shanahan explained the football reasons why Kaepernick and RG3 are not in demand as backups. Basically it boils down to the difficulty of having backups that need a certain offensive structure to succeed. But it sounds like BS when you look at at least half a dozen teams designed for mobile QBs. RG3 has the injury issues and ego/leadership questions. Kaepernick has questions about his smarts, plus the outside stuff.

The Niners were going to release Kaepernick so they wouldn't have to payoff his contract. He opted out based on that info. In a way one has to admire his risking his career over matters of conscience. But he is becoming a Curt Flood like figure, another martyr to social injustice.

It is funny. The NFL doesn't care if you beat your wife, deal drugs, or murder people as long as you don't get caught. Causing political controversy is now known to be a no-no. It is all about the Benjamins.

You hit the nail on the head, when the bulk of your viewers aren't sj warriors and they are the working man and you force feed them a political agenda they tend to tune out. I could care less about the black power stuff. The NFL has taken the balls out of football and the days of men who were warriors are gone, the Richard dents, Lawrence Taylor's and mean Joe greens. Guys that drew you in and made you love the game. His poor choices made him Lose his job. If he wants back in it's gonna take hard work and showing his head is on the field.
