For me, it's not that I don't like it, I just don't get what it wants to be. A lot of the same models who do more erotic stuff in other mags or the movies, given different names and are just naked. All being the girl next door.

Also, High Society and Cheri...just sleazy.

I've seen a recent trend to argue about political positions and whether the users agree or disagree with the way things are presented in various magazines or by certain editors. This will not be allowed to continue.

The first post merely stated that they had discontinued a certain magazine because they didn't line the political positions. That was okay, to a point, but from then on a series of posts made disagreeing or favoring any such position became offensive to the extreme. The Vintage Erotica Talk forum is NOT available for a political discussion. ANY political discussions must be restricted to the General Discussion & News forum and will not be tolerated here.

Any further posts presenting or arguing political viewpoints here will be deleted in their entirety with no further discussion.

I know that this isn't an "adult" magazine, and although I admit to never having read it, I had to add it to this thread. I despise the very idea of this rag. Since Oprah Winfrey's picture is on EVERY front cover, essentially, it is her salute to HERSELF. I think it's the height of conceit.

I just never cared for Penthouse, aside from a few models once in a great while. I preferred Playboy, well until I went into a big newsstand and saw Gent and Juggs. THEN I knew I was home... lol

To me simply all those which publish hardcore kind of scenes into images!!! Actions do not make womens looking good (do not reveal beauty). Photography goes with posing and therefore with SOFTCORE. Voyeurs wanna see girl's attributes so that they are visible and properly highlighted... Today a huge trend into Erotic pictorials is what I call the GLAMCORE : sexy solo girl starting a glam strip but going into action and hardcore as soon as she begins removing her clothes and ending a finger or toy between her legs...

Censored magazines. Hated those with a passion.

Germany had badly placed dark patches over vaginas, in the UK there was some visible-genitalia-but-no-penetration rubbish, and we all know the dreaded japanese pixel that still lives on till this day.

Also (probably mentioned this before in this thread) the utter bonerstop of RAZZLE smearing beautiful models with food. They alwas looked as someone had just barfed and defaecated on them. How's that sexy? Ack!

Newer Playboys, specially Serbian issue (become wide known as mag for gays). Interesting, Slovenian and Croatian is better, Macedonian wasn't so...

Also, mags with censored pictures or b/g sets without penetrations. I prefer erotica (solo girls), but if there is someone else - go into hardcore, at least!
