Default Tagging any member to the topic.

How do i tag a member to a topic? For example; @MichaelKenny
Is it possible to tag any member directly?

Thank you.

Like a frail flower attempting to bloom in a barren desert. Like a wingless bird plummeting through the air and crashing to earth.

Thank you.

I've mainly only used this function to point out a member for thanks.
Certain cross posts from scans to a model thread, pointing to thank the poster.
That type of thing.

1) Example, I just opened your profile, and copied the URL.

2) When in posting / editing mode:

Typing the words out,
"Give thanks to VEF Member Michael Kenny for his post here...."

Highlight/Select the user name, Michael Kenny:

3) After selecting that, then use the Insert Link icon to insert the URL. (Globe with chain links)

It's basically a copy and paste.
Copy the URL into the highlighted field using the Insert Link.

4) Your end result should look similar to this:

"Give thanks to VEF Member Michael Kenny for his post here...."

************************************************** ********

This vB feature of Insert Link can also be used for any link on the forums, where applicable.

Hope this helps.
Remember to only use your powers for good.
