Yeah - for example the (1990s) "Death of Superman" in Superman #75 was polybagged. So if you opened the bag, you immediately "devalued" the comic's resale value

I was more a fan of John Byrne's art that something else.
Inked by the very precise Terry Austin, his job was the top of Comics book arts.
I don't think there was a better job done.

Later I admired the collaboration between Todd McFarlane and Greg Capullo in Spawn.

That's difficult to draw very well. You must be talented and hard-working like a sport recordman.
