Yeah, i'm not looking forward to that either.

I'm so sick of this warm summer and its drought, hoping for a gray, wet and cool august. But things aren't looking good...

I'm not keen on hot, humid weather but I wouldn't go that far.

Warm with a cool breeze and the occasional gentle (if prolonged) shower will do me. And surely it was always like that when I was a child in the 60s...wasn't it?

It was always like that when I was a child, and maybe hotter. I do recall getting scallded by my Mother for walking melted tar off the road into the Axminster!

Bring it on

Cool wind makes a huge difference, there hasn't been much of that lately.

And the lack of rain, of course

Wish I had your hot weather in England. Here in Chicago it's been stormy, misty, foggy with gray overcast skies and too cool temperatures for the usual hot, humid summer we get. I wannnnnnnnt heat!

At least it will be easy to steam clean the pavement first.

From what I've read, Labour don't want to be in that position. Brexit would not exist without the Conservatives. The outcome looks very unfavorable, and Labour wants everyone to know that the Conservatives own it

That being said Labour had plenty time during the referendum to make a strong case for staying in if they truly believed in staying in the EU, they didn't as like the Conservatives they were lazy and tried to scare voters to vote Remain, it went spectacularly tits up and even though Brexit itself was brought on by Cameron (one of the few times a politician has kept a promise ) make no mistake Labour have been squirming in their seats ever since the result was announced as the only real idea from the Corbynistas is to keep the status quo but do a Neville Chamberlain, come back with no change disguised as success and proudly announce "peace in our time"
