Things Noticeable this week - Page 3424

Absolutely fabulous, what a fly past by the RAF's multitude of planes past and present and three F-35 Lightnings for the future(154 more to come from the US) BUT very disappointed that not one sodding aircraft came this way, yet yesterday we saw three propeller-driven aircraft fly this way circling the area three times!

Much cooler today taking advantage of that by firing up the PC later first time in three weeks as attic much cooler- wont last though, a return to higher temperatures by Friday and another warm weekend beckons.

Noticed a thundering sound earlier this evening. Looked across rooftops of houses across from us and saw three big planes with propellers but these might have been the aircraft that accompanied Donald Trump on his visit to London. These planes have swing propellers in that they start with a helicopter-style lift off(STOL-Short Take Off and Landing) and once in the air they go horizontal like a plane. Their engines are very loud and even at a distance it was quite noisy. So far today they have circled around 6 times this area so they must be the security that Trump has based at some RAF base-amazing what you can see in the sky these days.
