Where does this forum draw the line between softcore and hardcore?

Since this forum has seperate sections for softcore and hardcore, I'm wondering about the exact definitions of softcore and hardcore.



I've always thought that hardcore starts at close enough close ups of women's genitals, or, if there's a guy present, at the sight of an erect penis.



But there seem to be other people who think that hardcore requires Boy/girl action, or at least girl/girl action, or at least dildo insertions.



So, what is it? Can solo stuff be hardcore?

Softcore is defined as anything that does not involve showing of penetration of any kind.

Solo scenes can be deemed hardcore if there is any penetration involved.

So, just to be sure - a close-up of spread labia would still count as softcore if there's no penetration involved? Just want to be absolutely sure about this.
