Minor ailments I've had have been fixed by going private .

So for decent healthcare in Britain you pay twice .

Car chases and explosions every five minutes all for people with the attention span of a gold fish .
Superman ,Spiderman ,wonder woman and other bollox .
Space movies where aliens have American accents indeed .
All utter shite .

My fave films are ...
Performance
Get Carter
Quadrophenia
The long good Friday
The wicker man
Withnail and I

To name just a few .
All British and made on a shoestring budget compared with American dross yet mesmerising and unforgettable due to the acting ,script ,editing and direction .

It wouldn't bother me if I never seen another American movie again

Never been in anything resembling a prestige movie. Questionable acting ability. Dopey TV series' where it seems everyone reads their lines off cue cards don't count for much. Not even pretty IMHO.
