90s CD-ROMs & floppies

I ripped some old 90s CD-ROMs & floppies I had lying around. Before the internet and sites like VEF they were how you got porn on your computer. At least if you wanted to avoid huge phone bills and wasted time to download them from a BBS. They were terribly overpriced and usually bad quality so thank god those days are over

I posted the images of some of these cds before but the rapidshare links went dead and the thread was removed. However this time I made complete images. The CD-ROMs are in BIN/CUE format and the floppies in IMG. So these are only usable for tech-savvy people. Most programs on these CDs won't work on modern machines and require virtual machines or emulators like DOSBOX. However, you can mount the image with a virtual drive or use a program like ISOBuster to extract the images/videos. Feel free to repost the images/videos only to help the computer noobs on VEF

Here are some of the previews you posted for the early erotic and adult art sideface CDs. The adult art CDs in the bonus directories contain some small - but fairly good - 80s and 90s glossy mag scans. A lot of the files are in PCX format so you will need a PCX viewer or a PCX to JPG converter to view them.

For years I have been trying to track down Alsscan Adult CDrom from that era, particularly als4096 or 4076.jpeg Ithought I wuld be able to track it down, but have had absolutely no luck, Have you seen it, can you remember it at all , it was Alsscan before they just did the female only

sorry I dont know that one. Its very hard to find any info about these CDs anywhere. Most of these I got recently from fleamarkets and also there it's rare to come across them. Most people just throw them away I guess, unfortunately

If they are in ISO format you must use a loopback tool like ISObuster or one of the many free variants out there. The other alternative is to use a CD burning tool like Nero or something like imgburn and actually burn the ISO to a bona fide CD and then you can just access the CD directly. Some photo file formats on the CDs are older like PCX so you will need additional tools to view those photos. For older video formats you can VLC as was already mentioned. For the really old GRASP movies, you will need something like AfterGRASP which I believe works with most versions of Windows (Not sure about Windows 8 though)

Yeah, Dosbox for Windows is also another alternative for viewing these files. You can just run GRASPRT or AAPLAY from the window. Sound might be an issue but most of these animations were soundless back then.
