Image saving in Firefox 44.0.2

When i open an image(>300kb`s) from a website to view in firefox, why when i right click to save does it redownload and not save the first one?.

Have i explained that correctly?.

Try updating to latest version (45.0.1) and see if the problem persists.

I just updated and now the RIGHT CLICK-save image as no longer works. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

You could always try "Screengrab!". I've got it on FF 43.0.3 and it works.

Firefox is just frustratingly flaky. You first save something to a specified file folder, then the next save can get pointed somewhere else!!

Everybody,

I used to use FF for years and really liked it until they started this almost constant updating and changing how they do things. Then someone around this forum suggested using Pale Moon. So I did and haven't looked back:

https://www.palemoon.org/

It works almost the same as FF except they take a slower track on updating. Almost all of the security apps work (get them at the same place as the FF add-ons).

Don't know that I'll ever go back to FF as long as Pale Moon keeps on the same track. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.
