Um, I guess watb's precondition would be a first and secondly maybe if she were a more minor star who had been out of the spotlight for many years. Would you really want to be with a woman who is recognized across the globe for her carnal talents? I suppose many of the women in the industry have settled down and lead quiet lives and some are probably happily married but it would be a situation where both parties were accepting of the circumstances. It would be someone who could be loving without preconditions, that's a tall order for either party, pornstar or not.

To marry? Probably not. If the thought of starting a family is on one's mind, it'd be rather hard to explain to the children what their mother did as an occupation back in the days. Plus, eventually though the kids will grow up where they'll make friends, friends who might be searching for porn on the internet, and stumble upon websites/forums much like VEF, and "coincidentally" find downloadable materials of the kids' mother in her "glory" days. If not having any children is the plan, then the answer is a definite "yes".

How do you have this conversation with your children? It would be rather awkward at best. They would have to be told at some point. All thorny issues to consider.

Imagine you are the father telling your son or daughter, what would you say? How would you approach it? Would you involve mom too? Definitely not a fantasy situation.

The best case scenario would be to lie and fabricate a story to hide the truth. The only problem with that is, the truth will somehow find its way to reveal itself, via evidences such as magazines, videos, internet, etc. You can only cage your children from the real world for so long.

The other option is to tell them the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That'd also be difficult because you'd want to wait until they're of a certain age or maturity in order to let such truths sink in without them freaking out. The trick is to find that perfect time to tell them, hopefully before they find out themselves through friends or the internet.

Well put, I think someone marrying a call girl would have it far easier in this respect. At least there would be a cloak of anonymity which a porn star is not afforded.

That was a dilemma facing one of our own VEF members not so long ago. His wife did some loops back in the day and was assured they were only going to be shown on the continent. That ended up not being the case. Anyway time passes and the woman is married, has kids and is a pillar of society. Then along comes the internet and her secret is blown....so to speak. An unenviable situation to be in.
Many members here were trying to convince him that his wife should be proud of what she did, but unfortunately he and his wife didn't share the same view.

If society was mature and educated enough, this discussion would never occur in the first place. What parents did in their youth to survive in this world has absolutely nothing to do with their characters whatsoever.

So what if they fucked for a money for a living? When they get old enough, you tell them - period. If they don't understand or they consider porn as dirt (as I'm sure a lot still do), then you as a parent failed obviously as did the rest of the environment surrounding a kid such as the school etc.

This hypocrisy about porn is really getting old; reminds me of the sex scandals in the church we get every so often. They have a profession speaking the word of god and wave the hand, but they also have certain needs - right? Sort of a relief with them young boys eh?
