Now that is a brilliant idea! Do you have an idea about the finding method? The old school system of public mud wrestling is apparently a bit biased towards beings who love mud.

Two things. Firstly, the difference in the popular vote was about 200,000 last time I looked. With 90+million votes cast, that's about 2 tenths of one percent. That is so small of a percentage that it is within the margin of error of our ability to count them. In other words, you could count those ballots a million times and never be able to say with certainty who won.

Second, lets assume for a second that Hillary actually is ahead by 200,000 votes. Military personnel, and dependents, who are overseas or on navy ships, vote by absentee ballot. A large number of those ballots usually come in after the elections are over. There were, at the end of last year, over 220,000 military personnel outside the US...not counting the navy. I think it's safe to assume that that number hasn't changed significantly if at all. Those people vote overwhelmingly Republican. If you count those ballots in favor of Trump, which is how 99% of them will go, you will close that 200,000 thousand vote margin that Hillary currently has. Would it be to the point that Trump will actually win the popular vote? Who knows at this point. It will likely never be reported what the final number is until well after Trump is President.

To repeat, 44% of the eligible voters did not vote. At this point Clinton leads Trump in the votes cast by over 500.000 votes 47.8% to 47.3% with Johnson & Stein accounting for the remaining 4.9%. Thus Trump was voted in by 26.5% of the electorate (0.56 x 0.473). By the rules of the game, he is presumably the president-elect unless a bunch of his pledged Electors bolt, which is highly unlikely.

All I'm saying is that he doesn't have a long leash to deliver on his promises. He will also find that he cannot unilaterally carry some of them out and that some of his targets have powerful Republican patrons in Congress. Have you noticed that the bond markets are rapidly driving up our borrowing costs? Bond holders don't like inflation, uncertainty, and threats to default.

There are reasons why Presidents age so fast.

I sincerely hope Mrs Obama ignore the siren noises quoting "#Michelle2020" and sticks to her pledge not to run for POTUS:

Don't get me wrong - I think Mrs Obama has been a great First Lady, but we've just seen the US reject one political dynasty (two dynasties, if one recalls the hapless Jeb Bush) - so why does Michelle's supporters believe installing another political dynasty is the solution?

Brian said, "Trump lost the popular vote"

Doesn't matter. All that is, is mental masterbation for the losers.

'I think Mrs Obama has been a great First Lady"/

She got off to a bad start when she stated that she was at last proud of her country just after Barry won the election 8 years ago. I wonder how proud she is now that the voters have rejected Barry's legacy of failed policy.

Likely hates the country again.

Seen on Twitter:

But will Bernie Sanders run in 2020? His wife has apparently dismissed a 2020 White House bid...

She should not run, because she will be too "establishment" to bring the voters out. But before 2020 the party needs to figure out leadership of the party first, with the deciding factor being the ability to connect with voters over "fundraising" and "business contacts".

Not that it matters, but i wonder how influential the FBI-neckshot was in these elections, and if it was Trump or Putin's idea, or if that FBI bloke came up with that himself.

Their timing was impeccable though.

Edit: more on topic: i think Mrs. Obama is smart enough not to run for president.
