Is that the Carey one with the ball heading into outer space before it came down?
Finally seen the match highlights and Bravo must have been disappointed he failed to get the 6. Last edited by victor meldrew; January 22nd, 2018 at 09:50 PM.. |

Sometimes there's a bit (~5-10 secs) BBL on the news. Often something extraneous/"humorous"/irrelevant, rather than cricket-interesting. I wouldn't enjoy watching T20 even if it were available. odis can be tolerable but it's tests that I want to view... I just don't wish to pay sky for it. /shrug/ Last edited by effCup; January 23rd, 2018 at 09:01 AM.. Reason: typo. |

Congratulations to England for winning the ODI series - a good comeback after a hellish Test series.
They have been well organised and well served by by their top 6 across the 3 matches. Somone or a few have stepped up in each game. Their bowlers not smashing it, but taking key wickets esp Smith and Warner in each game when needed and controlling the Australia batsmen. Aus have relied on too few, Finch, then Marsh and Stoinis only scores of note. Bowlers have not been able to keep runs down or take enough wickets. Got a bit closer in the 3rd ODI. Maybe a letdown after a big test series, but these days need to keep on delivering. No shame in Smith not making runs every time he bats, though it becomes an expectation. Not sure why White was reselected, Head has disappointed again, and surely Lyon needs to return to the ODI team. To bad Behrendorf and Coulter-Nile are injured, the need to rest the Test pacemen not working with the 2nd line a bit too thin. I'd keep Jhye Richardson around though. |
