I hid a porn magazine i found under my parents bed. under the matress and quite far back - there was no way they were going to find it. And then one day it was gone!
I always wondered what my mother thought when she found it - and my fathers puzzlement as it wasn't his!

Great thread! Love reading about others' experiences and feelings about buying porn mags! Many are so simliar to my own!
As much as I love the internet and all the freedom it gives one to search for any fetish or category you desire, I can't help but think that nothing can or will replace physically going out with the sole purpose of buying a porn magazine and facing another person (preferably female) as you take it to the counter and pay, knowing that they know what you will be getting up to as soon as you get to the privacy of your bedroom.

I was always excited by going to the newsagents as there it was not the sole reason might visit the shop. I often wondered whether they could tell immediately what I was after as I skunk through the door. Often I would spend a long time procrastinating, either waiting for a lull in customers, so I could make my move for the top shelf. Even once I had done so that was only half the battle! Often I would get a magazine I did not want and would then have to wait yet again before I could exhcange it!
Then there was paying for it. After finally making my selection and making sure there were no prying eyes of other customers I would swiftly head for the counter, making sure that I had the right change ready, having already checked the price.
The woman behind the counter was over fifty and seemed embarrassed and spent a while trying to check for the price! Fortunately no one came in and I managed to pay and leave feeling hot with embarrassment, but utterly thrilled! That mag was bagged up in its original bag and hidden under the garden shed!

Going to a sex shop had an equal thrill too... they always seemed to be located on busy roads and I used to find myself strolling up and down the same bit of pavement waiting for a break in traffic ... I probably drew more attention to myself this way, but I was always paranoid that someone I knew would drive past and se me entering the shop!!

Inside I would always be greeted by the same middle aged lady, a relaxed and friendly "Hiya" to which I would mumble and awkward response. I had always hoped for an attractive young lady, but looking back I think going in now I would be more turned on by this lady !

Inside the shop as you walked in were toys, masks and a lot of leather and bondage outfits that don't interest me. I would make straight for the rear of the shop where DVDs presided in their hundreds and in one corner and a rack on the wall there were the Hustler XXX and Hustler Barely Leagal Hard core in all their glory! I must have spent hours in there! It was a delicate operation deciding on which few I would take away with me. Fellow pervs would occasionally be present, but they were interested in the movie's rather than the books.

Once or twice a young couple were in the clothing area next door and I would have to pass them on my way in... I hoped they might look at me and think of me as a pervert or guess that I might be jealous that they were going to buy something to share and enjoy together while I had only my magazine and my right hand! Maybe weird sounding but I liked that thought! I would fantasize that they might take pity on a lonesome guy like me and let me join them for a night, so long as I brought my mag too!

Then there was always the Times when I might lose my bottle in the newsagents and leave empty handed, frustrated and deflated, but even more determined that next time, next time I would do it!

Here in the states we had a place called The Newscenter. They had a ton of magazines of all kinds and some from around the world. They had a pretty large porn mag section that was right next to the register. It kind of sucked because if you looked at it, you were kind of the 'pervert in the store' and there was usually an old lady manning the register at the one by me who would huff and puff and sneer at you when you bought one. I bought a total of one there (a OUI) and that was it.

Then me and my friends started driving down to the city to the porn stores that were in the 'not so nice' neighborhoods. Now they couldn't have cared less what you bought. I don't even know if stores like that are open anymore. But those memories are priceless.

I went on a bit of a mission today. First newsagents had a middle aged asian woman serving, not my thing but could be good sport. Unfortunately I couldn't find what I wanted. Looked at A copy of Voluptuous but it was in a double with some granny mag so I thought I'd pass.

Second place had a man serving as usual but it's had a good selection in the past. When I went in I noticed a fat mumsy type working there too which I noted for the future. unfortunately they also didn't have anything in my area (BBW and big tit).

Final place I tried on a whim. Last time I bought there was underwhelming. Some snooty eastern European type looking down on me. This time there were a couple of other women in there, a dark haired older woman stacking shelves and a young redhead at the counter. Very pale freckled skin. And I found a november 2003 issue of juggs! Buying experience was fun too. Redhead seemed awkward and a bit unhappy to be serving me. I felt some remorse but the sense of power was a nice. She did find it in her to say "have a good evening" though which I thought was a nice touch.

Will scan the mag some time if I get a chance.

I never used to buy wank mags. I used to surreptitiously sneak 'em up my jumper. Then when I was older I actually started to buy 'em but travel to the next town & buy mags from a newsagents that was the least busy.
