Apparently the ticket touts are advertising on certain auction sites tickets for the Manchester benefit concert. £40 tickets are advertised, or at least were, for £200 and more. Those sites are now trying to remove them asap and ban the sellers.

To be honest the way tickets are sold for most big events in this county through Ticketmaster (twats) is a joke, If they are not swept up by agents who sell them as part of an expensive package deal with hotel stay they are grabbed by profiteering scum and real fans don't stand a chance as they are usually gone within minutes.

I remember not too long ago someone came up with the idea that when you bought a ticket it was recorded as being yours. Then when you went to the concert, match or whatever you had to show proper ID to use the bought ticket. If your ID didn't match the registered info, tough shit you were not getting in. I don't know how practical or difficult it would be to do such a thing but it certainly seems better than the current system.

There have been reports of gunfire and explosions at a tourist hotel in the Philippines.

Police and Swat teams were deployed to Resorts World Manila at about 01:30 local time (17:30 GMT), according to reports from CNN Philippines.

News site Rappler.com is reporting that several people have been wounded.

It is interesting that the Obama's sare buying an 8.1 million USD residence. I thought they didn't have much money.
Oh I guess $400,000 speaking fees can add up pretty quickly though.

Is Donald Trump living in the real world or is he living in La La Land? How on earth can he say that climate change is a Chinese thing when even his own place in Florida is in danger of being flooded? He has made a big mistake and will rightly be laughed at(something he thinks won't happen now he has pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement) and serves the idiot right - The EU and China are meeting soon to thrash out a deal and although he has kept his promise to the mid-Americans who voted to keep their jobs in fossil fuels like coal, he has doomed America-does this really help to make America Great Again?

In a follow up to my earlier post about the scumbag touts trying to make money off the Manchester benefit gig it appears others now are trying for the free tickets offered. Over 10,000 people have falsely claimed they were at the original concert in a bid to get a ticket, most likely to sell. 14,200 were at the concert on 22 May yet 25,000 or so have applied for the free ticket offer. Now obviously some want to just be there and are chancers. Others though will clearly be doing it in the hope of making cash. So not only are they looking to cash in on tragedy they are happy to deprive someone who was legitimately entitled to a ticket.

I hope the organisers and ticket agencies can sort the real applicants from the fakes. It would be a real shame if the touts are able to cash in this time around.

While not the first to do it Harvard will have a blacks only graduation. Now if whites tried to do one for whites only I wonder how much of an uproar there would be?? BLM would at least go ballistic I betcha.
I wonder if whites can sit quietly in the audience??? What about the other ethnicities such as Asian or Hispanic???
America is going to hell in a hand basket IMO.
