As to moving to a more favorable tax country, that is a personal decision. Maybe if the country went to a flat tax it would be more equitable to all. The rich would still pay a lot more than the lower levels.
How about a national sales tax so that users pay for what they use?
I am not to keen on most of my taxes going for purposes I don't like but it is the way it is.

On a personal level the well off being able to keep more of their money is a good thing, but if the people are allowed to keep too much money the economy suffers as a whole and social upheaval tend to be the result. The same people who do not want pay their workers also. Money is to flow through the economy like blood through veins. The hoarding of money is like the blockages that causes heartattacks and strokes.

MASSIVE respect for the people of Manchester, today they carried on as normal, and as an act of defiance turned out in much bigger numbers to support the Great Manchester Run! BRILLIANT!

Amidst all of that, they applauded a delegation of Imams from across the Nation, politely listened to their condemnation of 'a cowardly act, and listened to their intent to attack terrorists and preach against these attacks, declaring them non Islamic, and an insult to the religion.

Well done Manchester WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!

Nice post Rupe but let's see if the Imams and their people actually act. There are so few Muslims who really (IMO) feel empathy for the innocents that are slaughtered by these "holy warriors". It seems to be protective camouflage to deflect public hatred, which is there and deserved IMO.
When Muslims take to the streets in patrols to help stop this carnage, and mean it, I might have a better opinion about them.

I think muslims patrolling the streets will not go over well with most people, no matter what teir intentions may be.

Unfortunately, in certain parts of Manchester, Bradford and Birmingham, there are Muslim street patrols. But the patrols are there to introduce Sharia Law. No more no less.

Certain parts of those cities are no go areas for white policemen. Of course denied by the media but the Manchester police board have confirmed in the past, that the area in question "is too dangerous to patrol without an armed presence."

As I said in the post the people of \Manchester showed respect to the Imams by allowing them to make their speeches.

There is a lot I agree with in the other posts too, but I have never seen any Muslims patrols in Manchester, that includes Moss Side, Whalley Range, Moston, Chorlton, Didsbury and the City! So I dispute that, as for Police no go areas, not that I know of, anywhere, and I work with the Police quite a lot! I also lived a few hundred yards from the West Didsbury Mosque!

My biggest fear is now a Right Wing backlash.
