Top seed Gail Stanton (Miss June 1978) renews
a rivalry with No. 4 seed Nicki Thomas (Miss
March 1977) in the second semi-final.

The girls were pooled together in Group C
of the first phase, when Thomas earned
ten points more than Stanton.

Likewise, there has been little between
them in the knockout rounds, where Thomas
has secured just three votes more than Stanton
in three match-ups (158-155).

At 5' 1", Stanton is the shortest Playmate in
the tournament. Thomas stands four inches
taller. Stanton's waist and hips are both
one inch slimmer than those of her opponent.
