Do you wear tighty whities? - Page 3

As I have started this tread I think it is time to tell you about my own experiences with to tighty whities. As a kid I had to wear white briefs with a fly and hated them. As as a teenager I changed to coloured briefs without a fly. When I was about 20 I discovered boxershorts that became my preferred underwear for a very long time.

But gradually my view on tighty whities changed. I was suprised that good looking men choose to wear the exactly the kind of underwear that I had loathed so as a kid. At first I thought it was ridulous, then I daring and finally I realized how good they looked on an athletic body with a nice tan. So I finally took the plunge and bought my first tighty whities since my early childhood. And it was my real Damascus experience!

I still have some boxers in my drawer, but gradually the tighty whities are taking over. I wonder if other guys have made a similar experience.

After I had decided to switch back to tighty whities, I found out that there where three main problems to solve:

1) How do I piss throught the fly?
2) How do I avoid piss stains and skid marks?
3) Where I buy them?

ad 1) As I kid I thought it was extremely difficult and simply pulled my briefs down. In the meantime I have more practice, alhough I have to admit that I still pull them down most of the time.

ad 2) Of course piss stains and skid marks show much better in white underwear and I think this is a main reason, why many men don't wear them.

With regard to piss I found this advice: "every time you urinate, after you're finished, press on your perineum—that is, the area between your testicles and anus—and then shake. This will ensure the last bit gets out before you put everything away."
Believe me: it works!

With regard to the skid marks: wash your ass with water.

Of course it still can happen that you underwear gets a bit dirty. So what! The great thing with white underwear is that you can wash it with higher temperatures and afterwards it is crispy and clean again.

ad 3) I believed that finding classic tighty whities would be an easy job, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The department stores were full of boxers, boxersbriefs and briefs in any colour. But no white briefs with a fly! Even the Calvin Kleins didn't have any. I ended with ordering them by mail.

However ordering underwear by mail has a long tradition. These are pictures from old mail order catalogue. Then it would be impossible to imagine that anybody would go for the white underwear with so many colours to choose from. White looked so old-fashioned and homely. But nowadays I would buy white and white only!

I still wear them.

Wife says I should be wearing boxers cause it's better for men's health.

But why does it matter.

We are not having any more kids after 5.

Plus she had her tubes tied after the last one.

I did buy a pack one time that a bunch of white and then there was a blue one and a gray one.

That was the only time I ever had any undershorts that were not white.

Walmart has them. For those who are only finding boxers at the store.

I buy the Hanes brand.

I also still wear white muscle undershirts.

It's too hot in Texas even during the fall and winter to wear undershirts with a collar and short sleeves.

It is nice to get a reaction from someone who wears tighty whities and nothing else. I know that Hanes is very familiar brand in the USA, but as far as I know it is rather unknown in Europe.
They seem to be considered cheap underwear, but I do think that on the right man they look great.

I've worn briefs all my life. Boxers never interested me. My old man wore boxers but he also wore Dickies style work pants all the time that were much more boxer friendly. Levi's are not quite as accommodating. Beyond that I have never given the topic much thought. I guess we all have our fetishes but if I had this sort of fixation concerning men's underwear I would be concerned.

I also don't like boxers for the reason my boys feel naked with the air draft going in under there plus they will move around like they are going to come out from under my jeans or slacks at any time.

Even if I buy boxers that are one size too small and I did try that once - no dice!

Very uncomfortable.
