Why do you post here?

I know, this is a very personal, and close question. I have asked myself the same question, and the answer is: I like to share and spread joy, and I like people.

Now, do you beleive this is the thrue, or like me, beleive some has a bigger ego. Meaning, some people counting the numbers of thanks, some check the numbers of Friends. And - finally - some have an income (money)

I'm sorry if this is to controversial, only it got somethings of my chest.

I came to this forum because I wanted to see the vids from my youth.

I now spend my time on the discussion forum because the standard is so very high. I love history and (in particular military history) politics and the range of views and arguments put forward on here are excellent. The Moderation is good as well.

I now come to discussion and spend more time on it than the rest of the site put together.

Simple really.

I enjoy looking at photos of pretty girls with no clothes on, and taking to people who may share similar interests and - as far as older stuff is concerned - memories. Nothing beats those stories of buying porn mags, for example - you can only have those sorts of discussions on a great forum like this.

I enjoy sharing my views and my love of history with other folk on these Forums, and I originally came to find the films I had missed due to my Countries pathetic censorship laws.

A while ago I discovered the General Discussion threads and have been an enthusiastic, and I hope, informed contributor ever since. I love to start a conversation, with a piece of remembered history, and watch a group of far more informed folk than me proceed to debate it, from which I have learned a damn sight more than I have informed!

I didn't at first, I had nothing to contribute as I didn't have a scanner, no magazines but loads of newspaper cuttings-many of which I threw out long before I came online. After a while I thought okay, I've stolen, sorry I mean downloaded loads of pics here but I reckon I can do better and had loads of stuff never seen on any newsgroup or forum before. I got myself a scanner, learnt how to scan and then joined properly. I didn't get off to a good start as I critized someone's upload of a video and got into a word fight which didn't last long. I quickly learnt the protocol and then became a prolific poster of interesting stuff, then pictures. It was years later whilst Megaupload was still around that I discovered how to rip stuff from video to DVD and then upload to here. In the early days after about 200 posts I was asked if I would like to become a Moderator-I accepted and for a year or so posted like a demon-hence my large post count. I've had my ups and downs here but I have made some good friends here-one of which started with me here and also became a Mod-you might know him-Inglorious!

Anyway I post here because my stuff appeared to be popular although I am not in a competition now to be the top dog(but for a while I had posted more than anyone else) and content to post what I have, when I can...and now here's Sonia with the weather.
