I've seen the film twice so far, and found each viewing incredibly enjoyable. This all out reboot of the Superman mythos is much more revitalizing as a film than what we got in 2006, and I personally cannot wait for the next one. Just as Chris Reeve was Superman for a generation or two, I believe Henry Cavill is indeed a true successor to the throne. Go into it with an open mind, but don't expect any obvious affinity for the Donner/Reeve universe. This is indeed the Batman Begins of the Superman film franchise. And what a start to the DC cinematic universe it is!

I agree, it accomplished something that 'Superman Returns' didn't do and that was to have fun. I had a great time seeing Superman as he was originally envisioned, in ACTION! This is an epic movie that moves fast and with a lot of energy. It has a certain amount of depth, more so then 'The Avengers' (which in of itself a fun and great movie) but it doesn't sink into a morass of Superman's psychology. I know Superman, I've known him my whole life...now show me something I've never seen, and they do this and then some!

Too often they leave the original sound and talk on top of it, so you hear two languages at the same time. Even worse, sometimes they use only one speaker for all voices, so you get a man speaking for women.

I have a couple of Russian-dubbed softcore movies (Bikini Hoe-Down and Screwballs 2) that I found on the Net that suffered from these problems. Kinda ruins a good nudie movie! Plus, they read in a monotone voice, like they're announcing the targets for the next Five Year Plan.

Nothing puts a damper on your party like The Apocalypse. A who's who of Hollywood's stoner crowd (playing themselves, nice touch) deal with fire, brimstone and demons in this wildy outrageous comedy. And thru some komic kosmic konfluence, Kim Kardashian had her first child today. The End indeed. Thanks universe!

There is a small Tatar minority in Poland and Lithuania. Bronson's father, Walter Bunchinski, was a Lithuanian Tatar. Not important but interesting info you catch up about actors you like.
