Imagebam and PimpandHost
I have been getting the message below for about 5 days in Australia when either trying to upload to imagebam or clicking on their images :
I have returned to imagevenue for uploading images whilst imagebam sort out their problem. It has been frustrating on one hand and good therapy on the other. Not missing imagebam ads in the slightest I love thanking good posts but it is a total pain the ass seeing the message below when I click on images using pimpandhost : It has got to a point in Australia where if I find you use pimpandhost I will move on without thanking the post. It is just past a joke!

Its been mentioned more than a few times but proxys can still reach p&h
in Australia Best Free Anonymous Surfing Services http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...ng-service.htm You just cant use a download manager with them or connect to a https site on the likes of www.anonymouse.org at least The reset message seems to have only one solution - re-boot your connection imagevenue pic work OK so its very specific towards imagebam Cleaning the cache , disabling add-ons / plugins , disabling security suites dont seem to have any long lasting effect. Experiencing Imagebam connection problems as well. Interfacing via PS4 and am getting "Couldn't connect to server" message when clicking on images. Imagevenue, Pimp And Host and all other image hosts opening images with no problems. What's up with Imagebam?

From what i've experienced of late
Posted yesterday in Imagebam problems? http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...6&postcount=14 This morning i Boot PC - connect to internet via USB - imagebam comes up with reset message - account bookmark or image - same I then reboot the PC which resets the connection - instant access to the first screen If i'm using ublock origin - galleries & image are still being blocked When i disable the ad-blocking software extensions and just keep the internal pop-up blocker i dont see the reset message even as i swap connections Conspiracy theory One might think theres some sort of detection counter on imagebam for ad-blocking extensions like there is with mediafire where their captcha appears every 3-4th download When you get to a number of views its back to the reset message PS a few hours later - reset message back - no amount of rebooting did anything Starting firefox 53.03 in safe mode (all 7 add-ons / extensions / plugins disabled got instant access Conclusion = misfiring extension randomly nobbles access to imagebam Last edited by buttsie; June 1st, 2017 at 01:33 AM.. Imagebam Problem
I see Imagebam isn’t working again this evening, I am getting the “ Problem loading page” in the tab, a “The connection was reset” page with the “Try Again” button at the bottom, on this and other sites, all other Image hosts I tried are working fine, so I don't think it is my equipment, which granted is the latest and greatest. But Imagebam worked ok a couple of days ago, and has worked intermittently, for some time now.
Surprisingly http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/imagebam.com.html seems to show that it is working. |

Imagebam's been tossing out some obnoxious ads... they're not popups; they open a whole new browser tab.

How to download zip files from pimpandhost
A number of VEF Members have expressed concern about problems encountered when attempting to "grab" image-archives from pimpandhost; using a variety of down-loaders.
When P&H moved to a new software platform last fall, it appears that they intentionally made it more difficult for people to download images without first registering, and setting up a free User Account. As time passed, they continued to make changes, and as recently a 10 days ago they disabled access to "Image Search" unless you are logged in. In any event . . . if you wish to download image galleries from P&H, it is probably easiest to register with them; establishing a User ID and password. You don't have to post anything . . . just set up an account. Then, when you find a post at VEF that has images hosted at P&H, click on any image to open it at P&H. If a public gallery exists, it will show as a clickable link (see arrow, above). Just click that link and the gallery will appear: Click on the "down-load" icon, and you will be asked to log-in: As soon as you have logged-in, you will see the drop-down menu asking you if you wish to be forwarded to your "My Archives" page; where you will be able to check the status of your P&H zipped archive request. It can take a few minutes for the "Zip" file to be generated, but as soon as the process is finished, you will see a down-load link appear. You have 24 hours to complete the download. In the example below, the 930 image (370MB) zip file for Charlee took about 6 minutes to create, and another 3 minutes to download. The smaller files were much faster. Delays can be experienced if you have queue'd up a number of archives, or if P&H is experiencing peak server loads. However, you can come back at any time in the next 24 hours and download your zip archive. If you are viewing VEF from one of the countries where P&H is blocked, try using a VPN or proxy server. The images posted above at P&H can also be viewed here; http://imgbox.com/g/gq5hShgEaN |

Re: ImageBam
During the past few days several issues with ImageBam were reported. To find out what the cause might have been it would be helpful to add more info, e.g. from which country you tried to connect to IB, what's your ISP (Internet Service Provider), details about browser and add-ons. Unless it was only a temporary glitch, this info could enable tech-savvy members to figure out how to solve your problem, for example:

Quote:
Operating system: Windows 10 Browser: Firefox 53.0.3 Add-ons: AdblockPlus and NoScript enabled Country: Germany ISP: Deutsche Telekom AG That also applies to all other issues with image hosts!
