It was the beginning of the internet wallet accounts.
My internet wallet account was hacked and when I asked the customer service to request the money back from the thief (a scam bookmaker based in Malta), they didn't really help me. Hopefully it only was 150 €.
Then when they changed their name, they took me some extra charges because I didn't use my account enough. So I asked to withdraw my money to my bank account and they withdrew my money on the wrong currency. When I told them that they made a mistake, they lately reply and it was too late to correct.

I finally closed my internet wallet account forever.

get hassled for a year over £ 12.91 over a chargeback from pay-pal -
which I refused to pay ,
from a debt collection agency who rang every week for a year before giving up
- I would not like to get hassled by bailiffs - like on TV that was bad enough
getting threatening phone-calls

I've had plenty of bad Internet experiences, but one that always gets me down is checking in to social media and seeing the same people ranting and raving about nothing but politics.

I am not trying to say that there's no room for political opinions and promoting issues important to you, but when it comes to social media, I feel a little moderation is in order.

One friend, no names, is a teacher and started dropping "F" bombs in all her political posts. I have no problem with uncensored speech, but like, you're a teacher ya' know?

Got a pretty good life too with an apartment, two dogs, a boyfriend, career, live in a great country... how about more amazing photos of your recent trips and less anger about things you really can't control?

The Latest Joke on the Internet is Photobucket wanting money if you share third-party
photos ( ie on a Forum ) - so many photos and images are now dead thanks to that
- and guess how much they Photobucket want ?
PhotoBucket now charges $399 for third-party hosted images !!

an absolute joke - and the service on Photobucket is now so maddeningly slow
and cumbersome - some genius in an office dreamt this up - they will lose far
more customers than what they will gain in a few bucks ( who is going to pay
good money to an image provider - just to share a few photos ? )
