Bill Murray in Groundhog Day - not only a terrific movie, but that touch of edginess fits his personality to a T.

Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner; he had quite a few leading parts, but this is the one that left a real mark, most notably the final scene.

It is a good performance but I think His playing of the sarcastic,opportunistic Dr Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters is His defining role.It plays to His gift for delivering scripted lines as if they were ad libs.

What about 'Martin' in 'Flesh and Blood'-another 'flawed hero' portrayal-and his 'Fatherland' role stands out as well........
