BRILLIANT BORUSSIA FANS
An avalanche of social media after the 24 hours postponement, seeking "a bed for the night" for stranded Monaco fans. And they were inundated with help from Borussia fans. Dozens if not hundreds of replies and pictures across social media of a secure bed for the night for travelling fans. Now my favourite German team, because of the fans. Absolutely BRILLIANT ! ! |

More dodgy officiating, seems to get worse week on week. Perhaps they should sit the officials down, show them the footage and get them to explain how they arrived at these decisions.

Like holes in 1 in golf - they rarely if ever get repeated I reckon every goal like that since the world cup ball of 1994 was introduced just shows how much benefit that ball really gave as opposed to how much skill the players have. The late dip deceived more than a few keepers. We had a guy Damien Mori (frogger) who did it once in 3.5 seconds in Australia Fastest Soccer Goal (Damien Mori) 1995/96 NSL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-djDGqsOpR0 Whose the best dead ball specialist from free kicks today i wonder? |

Mind you the number of people who used to cite Beckham whilst he was playing was risible - like Ronaldo, for every one he got right there were soooo many that went MIA. Payet was always impressive, as is Alonso but there's probably 100% error free data in Asia somewhere for the bookies to be certain what odds to offer. There's also an equal chance of a stat which proves that having a direct pot at goal is only the third best choice you can make, or somesuch... On a nearly related matter, some pundit or journo was recently stating that apparently, the best way of defending a free kick is to have no wall at all or two walls which block off either side of the goal and force the taker of the free kick to have a direct belt at the target from a dead ball. It's alleged that it is so much harder to strike a dead ball that the odds favour the opposing team heavily. It's just that no coach has apparently had the balls to instruct their team to try it, for fear of it spectacularly backfiring. Are you listening, Arsene? |

Leicester are outraged about the dodgy penalty given against them. It's like they've never heard of Jamie Vardy.

UEFA are claiming the decision to reschedule Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League tie with Monaco less than 24 hours after an attack on their team bus was made ‘in cooperation and complete agreement’ with both clubs.
Be that as it may, couldn't UEFA apply common sense and delay the match a bit longer?
